B2B marketing services, built on a message that prospects understand
Sea Salt & Seltzer provides B2B marketing services for companies that have spent real money on marketing that didn't work. We're a woman-owned, StoryBrand Certified agency, and every engagement starts the same way: by clarifying what you do, who you do it for, why you're different, and what results customers can expect.
Most marketing doesn't fail on execution. Content fails because prospects have to work too hard to understand how you can help them. Fix that first and the website, the content, the executive's LinkedIn and the paid spend all start pulling in the same direction.
OUR MARKETING SERVICES
What's included in our B2B marketing services?
Strategy and messaging first, then distribution that matches your ideal client profile. Webpage content, blog pages, social content, executive comms, PR pitches, summits, conferences, and more.
Most clients run a monthly package combining several of our services. Some start with a single project and add from there. The common thread is that we start each engagement by nailing your message and understanding how you uniquely serve your ideal client.

CONTENT MARKETING
Integrated Marketing Campaigns
Blog and article programs built for search and for answer engines. Email marketing and automation. Social and LinkedIn programs. Lead magnets and the nurture sequences behind them.
The work starts with a content strategy tied to the funnel, not a calendar of topics brainstormed in a meeting. Every piece is written for a specific buyer at a specific moment, which is the difference between content that performs and content that just exists.
Our clients have seen triple digit growth in their web traffic, social media presence, and other lead gen channels through integrated campaigns that all lead the buyer to where they're most likely to convert: their website.

ICHRA AND BENEFITS MARKETING
How do you market an ICHRA offering?
You stop explaining the mechanism and start naming the problem it solves. ICHRA (now CHOICE Arrangement) is a product that requires in-depth explanation, but you have to earn the attention of your prospects first. We build ICHRA and benefits content that first acknowledges the problems that employers are trying to solve.
Then, we craft plain-language explainers that survive being forwarded, sales enablement materials your team will actually use, and content aimed at the employer rather than at other brokers.
We've built these strategies from a proven track record. We helped start the ICHRA Conference three years ago, and have helped market and plan it for a sold out crowd three years in a row.
For our largest ICHRA monthly marketing client, we have quadrupled website traffic and established a pipeline generating 12x the leads YoY.

THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
Executive communications
Ghostwritten LinkedIn posts and thought leadership in the executive's own voice. Speaker preparation and talking points. Presentation development for conferences, boards and sales conversations.
The goal is that the executive sounds like themselves with the argument sharpened, not like a press release wearing their name. That takes interviewing them properly, learning how they actually talk, and writing to the point they are trying to make rather than to a keyword.
Typical scope: a monthly cadence of ghostwritten posts, talking points ahead of a speaking slot or panel, and the deck that goes with it.

EVENT PLANNING
What does event marketing and management cover?
End to end planning and execution. Speaker sourcing and coordination, sponsor materials, registration campaigns, run of show, and the content that keeps an audience warm before and after.
Before the event: positioning, registration campaigns, email sequences, sponsor and speaker materials.
During: run of show, on-site content capture, social coverage, vendor coordination.
After: follow-up sequences, content repurposing, and the gifting strategy that makes people remember you for a reason other than the tote bag.
What our clients say:
“Sea Salt & Seltzer has been an integral part of making the ICHRA CHOICE Conference a can’t-miss annual event in our industry. Their planning, event marketing, and hands-on management during the events has made my life easier and supercharged the value for our attendees."
- Lori Koehler, COO, zizzl
Can we hire you for just one piece?
Yes. A messaging workshop, a website refresh, an executive's LinkedIn program, or one event is a normal starting point. The fractional arrangement is built for companies whose marketing team is one person, or nobody, and who need senior thinking without making a senior hire.
What does B2B Marketing cost?
Monthly packages start at $3,500. Branding and website packages are scoped and priced as fixed projects, so you know the number before we start. Ongoing retainers are priced on how much execution you hand us, from a single channel to the whole marketing function, and we quote that on the call once we know what you need.
Who you'll work with
Sea Salt & Seltzer is staffed by great women who know marketing inside and out. You'll start by meeting with the team behind our strategy: Emma Frutkin and Madie Riley.
Emma founded the company after a decade in benefits technology at bswift, through its startup phase, its growth, and its acquisition by Aetna. Madie runs content and growth with a background at Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies and Google. Both are on your discovery call, and both are deeply involved in the execution of your marketing plan.
